1. These terms

1.1 These Ticket Terms govern the purchase and use of tickets to events hosted by GD Events Group ("GD", "we", "us"). They apply to every ticket sold through this website.

1.2 By purchasing a ticket you accept these terms on your own behalf and on behalf of every guest included in your purchase.

1.3 Where you buy a table or a group of tickets, you are responsible for passing these terms on to your guests.

1.4 These Ticket Terms are separate from our Standard Terms and Conditions, which govern events GD delivers for a client.

2. Price and payment

2.1 The price shown on the event page is the price you pay. Card processing fees are already included in it and are not added at checkout.

2.2 All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST where applicable.

2.3 Payment is taken in full at the time of booking. Your booking is not confirmed and no place is held until payment has cleared.

2.4 Payment is processed by Stripe. GD does not see or store your card details.

2.5 You will receive a confirmation by email once payment is complete. If it has not arrived within a few hours, check your junk folder and then contact us.

3. Refunds, transfers and name changes

3.1 Tickets are non-refundable. Numbers, catering, staffing and styling are committed well before the night on the strength of tickets sold.

3.2 Tickets are transferable. If you cannot attend, you are welcome to pass your ticket to someone else at no charge.

3.3 To change the name on a ticket, email info@gdevents.com.au at least forty-eight (48) hours before the event with the original and replacement guest names.

3.4 Where a table or group booking is reduced after purchase, the unused tickets are not refunded and remain available for you to transfer.

3.5 Nothing in this clause limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

4. Tables and group bookings

4.1 Where tables are sold as a whole, the table is held in the name of the purchaser and seated together.

4.2 Individual tickets are seated by GD. We will seat people together on request where we reasonably can, but seating is at our discretion and we cannot guarantee a particular table or position in the room.

4.3 Final guest names for a table should be provided no later than seven (7) days before the event.

5. Changes or cancellation by GD

5.1 GD may make reasonable changes to the programme, entertainment, menu, styling or run of the night. These do not entitle you to a refund.

5.2 If GD cancels the event outright, you will be offered a full refund of the ticket price, or a transfer to a rescheduled date, at your election.

5.3 Where the event cannot proceed for reasons beyond our reasonable control — including public health directives, government action, fire, flood, extreme weather or the venue becoming unavailable — GD will reschedule where possible. Where rescheduling is not possible, GD will refund the ticket price less any costs already committed and unrecoverable.

5.4 GD is not responsible for your travel, accommodation or any other expense you incur in connection with attending.

6. Entry and conduct

6.1 The event is held at a licensed venue. Entry is subject to the venue's own conditions of entry, which may include signing in and producing photo identification.

6.2 Guests must be eighteen (18) years or over unless the event page states otherwise.

6.3 Alcohol is served under the venue's licence and in accordance with responsible service of alcohol requirements. Venue staff may refuse service at their discretion.

6.4 GD and the venue may refuse entry to, or remove, any guest whose conduct is unsafe, unlawful, or materially disruptive to other guests. No refund is given in those circumstances.

6.5 Please arrive within the arrival window shown on the event page. Late arrivals will be seated where practical without disrupting the evening.

7. Dietary requirements

7.1 Dietary requirements, allergies and intolerances must be provided in writing no later than seven (7) days before the event.

7.2 We will do what we reasonably can to accommodate them, within what the venue kitchen is able to provide.

7.3 Food is prepared in a kitchen that handles common allergens including nuts, dairy, gluten, eggs and shellfish. Neither GD nor the venue can guarantee any item is entirely free from cross-contact.

7.4 GD is not liable for any reaction caused by a requirement that was not disclosed in writing before the deadline.

8. Photography

8.1 A photographer is present at the event. Photographs are taken for GD's portfolio, website and social channels, and are made available to guests after the night.

8.2 By attending you consent to being photographed in general coverage of the event.

8.3 If you would prefer not to appear in images used publicly, let us know in writing before the event at info@gdevents.com.au, or speak to the photographer on the night, and we will respect it.

9. Liability

9.1 You attend the event at your own risk. You are responsible for your own property on the night.

9.2 To the maximum extent permitted by law, GD's total liability to you in connection with your ticket is limited to the price paid for that ticket.

9.3 To the maximum extent permitted by law, GD is not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

9.4 Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

10. Your details

10.1 Information you give us when booking is used to run the event, to contact you about it, and to meet our legal obligations. It is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10.2 We do not sell, rent or trade your details, and we do not pass them to the venue or any supplier beyond what is needed to run the night.

10.3 We may email you about future GD events. You can tell us at any time that you would rather we did not, and we will stop.

11. General

11.1 These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.

11.2 If any provision is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.

11.3 The version of these terms in force on the date of your purchase applies to that purchase.
